CLEARING AND FORWARDING AGENT

REQUIREMENTS

• Customs Clearance
• Prepare and process customs documentation for imports and exports.
• Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations.
• Liaise with customs officials to resolve queries and expedite clearance.
• Arrange transportation of goods via air, sea, or land using the most competitive pricing.
• Verify accuracy of shipping documents (bills of lading, invoices, packing lists).
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding shipment status.
• Provide advisory services on import/export procedures and requirements.
• Handle client complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare quotations and invoices for clearing and forwarding services.
• Optimize cost efficiency in logistics operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in clearing and forwarding operations.
• Strong knowledge of customs laws, import/export regulations.
