- Employee & Industrial Relations: Manage relations per labor laws, liaise with trade unions, and handle grievance/disciplinary processes.
- HR Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws and occupational health & safety; track statutory requirements and audits.
- Change Management: Drive workplace culture initiatives and support organizational change.
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate records for payroll, leave management, and contracts.
- Recruitment & Talent: Lead end-to-end recruitment and oversee onboarding and succession planning.
- Performance Management: Support implementation of KPIs, appraisal tools, and employee development programs.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Social Sciences, or related field. Higher National Diploma in HR is an advantage.
- Professional: Mandatory membership with IHRM. CHRP certification is desirable.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years managing HR processes in a labour-intensive, unionisable environment.
- Knowledge: Expert knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and industrial relations.
- Skills: Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
