JOB TITLE: LINE TECHNICIANAbout This Job:Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Line Technician to work in Thika, KenyaJob SummaryEnsuring the availability of appropriate engineering resources to enable safe and efficient plant operations for design and improvement of plant operations.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:· Developing and managing the Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) plan and its implementation· Performing engineering analysis and ensuring lowest machine energy and spares consumption· Lead in equipment breakdown analysis, troubleshooting and implementation of CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).· Optimizing equipment efficiencies through adherence to maintenance schedules Customer Return & Quality Documentation· Maintaining & managing engineering standards and procedures to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production and maintain product quality.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:· Bachelor of Science/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field· At-least 3- 5 year(s) relevant experience in beverage industry, more specifically hands on experience in troubleshooting blow moulders, filler, labeller and accompanying utility equipment· Machine Safety Training and awareness or any related field.· Experience responding quickly to line stoppages and minimizing machine downtime· Time management· Attention to detail; especially critical in preventive maintenance and diagnostics.· Computer literacy· Leadership skillsInterested and qualified applicants should submit their applications through the link belowNote:Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.Q-SOURCING SERVTEC IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
